After graduating with honors as Alpha Omega Alpha from UC Davis School of Medicine in 2003, I completed an Transitional Year in Internal Medicine at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego with some surgical clinical specialty training as well and then completed 3 more years of Emergency Medicine at UC San Diego where I was also the Chief Resident in my final year. I have since also completed extended post graduate training in Emergency Ultrasound from UCSD. I also hold a Masters of Public Health in International and Environmental Medicine from UCLA School of Public Health from 1997.
