Angela N. Beckford, MD, MPH, FAAD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained dermatologist specializing in treating acne and a wide range of skin conditions. She takes pride in offering individualized care to every patient. Her goal is for you to achieve your full potential with healthy, radiant skin. Dr. Beckford completed her dermatology residency at Boston University School of Medicine after a surgical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital/New York University School of Medicine in Manhattan. During a diverse residency program, she mastered managing skin conditions in all skin types. Advanced training was obtained during a rigorous Skin Oncology Fellowship at Boston University School of Medicine, where she received the distinguished MFD Award for Humanitarianism. Dr. Beckford then completed an innovative Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship at Skin and Laser Surgery Specialists of NY and NJ.

Dr. Beckford received the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award for obtaining a Master of Public Health from Florida International University. In addition, she completed an epidemiology internship with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Director of Health Promotion and Education Scholarships Program at the Miami-Dade Health Department. She was awarded the Miami-Dade County Health Department’s Health Hero Award for Extraordinary Contribution to the SARS/smallpox national protocol. Dr. Angela Beckford has been involved in numerous dermatologic clinical research trials and medical school educational projects. Her enthusiasm for imparting clinical diagnostic skills has inspired many medical students and residents. She has presented on cutting-edge cosmetic technology at national meetings such as the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). Dr. Beckford has also co-authored numerous published peer-reviewed journal articles. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, ASLMS, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the Skin of Color Society. She has been affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center and Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Allen grew up in Knoxville, TN, and attended the University of Virginia for undergraduate studies in biology. She did a brief foray into culinary school before deciding medicine was the right path for her. She completed both medical school and residency at the University of Michigan. She pursued an extra year of training in pediatric dermatology at UC San Diego, so she is board-certified in adult and pediatric dermatology. After training, she returned to my hometown to enjoy time with her family.

Dr. Wright is a board-certified dermatologist who received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Washington, D.C., after graduating with a double major from the University of Colorado. After running a hyperbaric chamber for US Navy dive teams in Micronesia, he completed 3 years of dermatology training at the Naval Medical Center San Diego as chief resident.
