Jean-Phillip Okhovat, MD, MPH is a board certified dermatologist. He obtained his MD with Alpha Omega Alpha honors at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed an MPH in Quantitative Methods at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He completed his internal medicine training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and dermatology training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Throughout his medical and public health training, he has authored several wide-scale epidemiologic studies with a focus on skin cancer prevention and quality of life studies focused on patients with melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, in addition to hair loss disorders. He is currently interested in bridging the gap in knowledge in patient centered care and clinician-based innovation.

Angela N. Beckford MD, MPH, FAAD is a board certified and fellowship-trained dermatologist specializing in the treatment of acne and a wide range of skin conditions. Dr. Beckford completed her dermatology residency at Boston University School of Medicine after a surgical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital/New York University School of Medicine in Manhattan. Dr. Beckford was the recipient of the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award on receiving a Master of Public Health from Florida International University. In addition, she also completed an internship in Epidemiology with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Director of Health Promotion and Education Scholarships Program at the Miami-Dade Health Department. There she was awarded the Miami-Dade County Health Department’s Health Hero Award for Extraordinary Contribution to the SARS/smallpox national protocol. Dr. Angela Beckford has been involved in numerous dermatologic clinical research trials as well as medical school educational projects. Her enthusiasm for imparting clinical diagnostic skills has inspired many medical students and residents. She has presented on cutting edge cosmetic technology at national meetings such as the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). Dr. Beckford has also co-authored numerous published peer-reviewed journal articles.
