About Dr. Nikki Tang

Dr. Tang is a double board-certified and fellowship-trained dermatologist who attended Brown University in Rhode Island for both her undergraduate and medical degree. She completed her dermatology residency in New York City at Mt. Sinai Beth Israel-St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, including specialty training in treating skin of color. After residency, she finished an intensive 1-year fellowship program in Mohs surgery and facial reconstruction at Mt. Sinai and was invited to be a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Tang has been active in research and academic medicine, authoring multiple journal articles, winning a large digital technology grant to improve dermatology education, writing book chapters and speaking at several national medical conferences. She offers a full spectrum of dermatologic services and expertise: general medical dermatology, surgical and non-surgical care of skin cancers, cosmetic dermatology and hair restoration. Her patient-centered aesthetic philosophy includes creating a highly customized plan for each patient and using results-proven products, treatments and devices.

All medical dermatology diseases, including acne, rosacea, contact dermatitis, skin discoloration, cellulitis, rashes, HSV, herpes, warts, ulcers, skin lesions, malignant neoplasms of the skin, nail issues, hair loss, skin aging, cold sores, sun damage or actinic keratoses, epidermal cysts, eczema, psoriasis, seborrheic keratosis or benign skin tumors, dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis or cradle cap, folliculitis, hives or urticaria, atopic dermatitis, tinea or tinea versicolor, fungal infections, cosmetic procedure follow-up, surgical procedure follow-up, inflammatory skin diseases, parasitic infections, such as scabies or head lice.
