About Dr. Lisa Hiller

I am an Emergency Physician with 19 years of experience working in a hospital Emergency Room setting and affiliated Urgent Care clinics. I am specialized in Emergency Medicine, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Ultrasound, and Critical Care. However, the majority of my daily patient care is focused on Primary Care and Urgent Care complaints/problems, their diagnoses and formulating treatment plans. I also have in the past 2 years acquired specific expertise in Telemedicine working both in the hospital's TeleUrgent Care program spanning multiple US western states and also in Telemedicine with a private group based in California since the beginning of the pandemic. I have found this to be a critical bridge for patients all over the country who need access to care and quick attention to their needs. This has been an incredibly rewarding and quite effective way to practice medicine in a timely fashion, addressing issues as they arise while much of our current US healthcare system requires that patients wait for precious days or weeks to be seen, heard, diagnosed, and treated. Telemedicine is a desperately needed adjunct to improve our current healthcare system and it is the wave of the future that I am thrilled to be riding on with my patients!
