Dr. Neustein is a Board Certified Pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics with over 14 years of experience in the practice of general pediatrics in the New York area. She believes in providing kids with excellent health care because healthy kids mean healthy futures. She graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency at Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center .In addition to private practice, she has served as a full time clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine teaching medical students and resident physicians. Dr. Neustein has been the recipient of several awards including The Compassionate Doctor Award and Patient's Choice award. Besides clinical practice, Dr. Neustein is the founding Vice President of the board of a national women's medical organization, is on the advisory medical board of a health care media company and is involved in utilization management. When she is not practicing medicine she enjoys healthy cooking and baking with her little ones, going on family nature walks, and getting very messy making arts and crafts.

I have practiced medicine for over twenty six years in the specialty of Pediatrics. I cherish each day as it continues to be rewarding as I watch my patients, who I’ve known since their birth, grow up and graduate from high school and college. I have been fortunate to have played a vital role in the lives of so many patients and their families which has brought me an enormous amount of satisfaction during my career.

I treat all children from birth to the age of 21 years, providing routine checkups and care for acute and chronic illnesses, including asthma, bronchiolitis, conjunctivitis, eczema, ear infections, pneumonia, and influenza.

Dr Michael Defeo completed his Pediatric residency training at Jersey Shore Medical Center in 1992. He then went on and completed a fellowship in Neonatal Medicine at New York University / Bellevue Hospital in 1995.
