Position included 3 months of deployment workups as well as an eight (8) month deployment on a Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) off the shores of the Middle East and Africa.

Actively practiced aerospace medicine, primary care, acute care, and preventive medicine. Wrote a monthly medical article for the base’s newsletter “The Sandpaper”. Traveled monthly to attend the Senior Medical Officer meetings for the Director of Branch Clinics within the Naval Medical Center San Diego.
