Dr. Beckford was the recipient of the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award on receiving a Master of Public Health from Florida International University. In addition, she also completed an internship in Epidemiology with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Director of Health Promotion and Education Scholarships Program at the Miami-Dade Health Department. There she was awarded the Miami-Dade County Health Department’s Health Hero Award for Extraordinary Contribution to the SARS/smallpox national protocol. Dr. Angela Beckford has been involved in numerous dermatologic clinical research trials as well as medical school educational projects. Her enthusiasm for imparting clinical diagnostic skills has inspired many medical students and residents. She has presented on cutting edge cosmetic technology at national meetings such as the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). Dr. Beckford has also co-authored numerous published peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr. Knox Beasley is originally from Nashville, Tennessee. He received his bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. He then attended medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, followed by his dermatology training in San Antonio, Texas. He first began doing telemedicine in 2013 with the military, helping to diagnose dermatologic issues in soldiers all over the world. Dr. Beasley is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Wright is a board certified dermatologist who received his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Washington DC after graduating with a double major from the University of Colorado. After running a hyperbaric chamber for US Navy dive teams in Micronesia, he then completed 3 years of dermatology training at the Naval Medical Center San Diego as chief resident, and was the recipient of the Alfred Hollander Memorial Award for teaching, as well as professional and personal integrity. Jennifer Yeh Chiang, M.D. was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School. She completed her internship at the University of Chicago (NorthShore University HealthSystem) in Evanston, Illinois, and her residency in Dermatology at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center in California. She practiced in Pasadena, California with DaVita Healthcare Partners Medical Group before joining San Diego Family Dermatology and Curology, Inc. in San Diego. Dr. Yeh Chiang is a board certified dermatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Yeh Chiang became a physician so that she could help others in a meaningful way, and she is dedicated to providing advanced healthcare and individualized treatment options for her patients.
